Frequently Asked Questions

What is the MeRT treatment procedure?

After consultation with the medical team, qEEG and EKG are performed. Based on those results, an individualized stimulation plan is designed and treatment begins.

What tests are performed before treatment?

qEEG and EKG are the standard tests — non-invasive, painless, and typically completed in about 30 minutes with soft scalp sensors.

How long is a single session?

A session typically runs 30–60 minutes. Actual stimulation is brief; the rest is preparation and observation.

What does it mean that treatment is non-invasive and drug-free?

Magnetic waves are generated outside the scalp to stimulate brain regions — no incision, drug injection, or anesthesia is involved.

What conditions has MeRT been applied to?

MeRT has been applied to Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Sleep Disorders, PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injury, and concussion, among others.

What is the typical treatment duration and frequency?

Generally 4–6 weeks is recommended, with about 5 sessions per week. The exact plan is determined by the medical team based on qEEG results.
